It has been a good summer for Schoolhouse Steps as we walk toward our 1,000 mile goal, highlighting autism awareness and raising money for Nellie’s Schoolhouse. We are thankful for all of you who have generously contributed to our campaign.
During the course of walking with Zeke these past few months, my back started to ache, leading to fewer miles completed for Zeke and me and slowing down our journey. Although I am confident my back will improve in the weeks and months ahead, I have asked several kind and gracious people and help me and Nellie’s Schoolhouse collectively reach the 1000 mile mark by late fall. I am grateful for their willingness to support me in my venture. They are truly stepping up!
My new walking friends are:
- Caryn and her dog, Mamma
- Kit and her dog, Millie
- Lynn and her dog, Lucy
- Jack and his dog, Dexter
- Dana and her dog, Vinny
- Natalie and her dog, Beaux
- Shelly and her dog, Zoey
They will be walking in late summer and fall and tracking their miles as they go.
If you are interested in walking with your dog and helping us with Schoolhouse Steps, please contact us through our email.
Thanks!
