Nellie’s Schoolhouse had a great summer!

We spent time at Judith Creed Homes for Adult Independence, Camp Pegasus and Camp Carousel. We want to thank all of the talented students and people that were involved in our dog walking sessions this summer.

Summer Updates: We’ve Almost Reached Our Goal!

Our Howling and Hiking journey continues!

This spring, I set a goal to walk 500 miles with Zeke with a goal to raise $10,000 for Nellie’s Schoolhouse and the Talk School. I’m pleased to report that we are near the end of our objective, with 484 miles completed and $8,200 raised!

Even though we only have 16 miles to go, we plan to keep walking until our big “A” Train event in October.

We thank everyone who has supported us during our trek and hope for your continued support while we strive to reach our financial goal.

Every donation counts! To follow our progress and send us a donation, visit our howling and hiking page.

Viewer discretion advised. This clip includes profanities and is not suitable for young children.

We hope you will be able to join us for one of our 2 special performances of “A” Train, a Nellie’s Schoolhouse sponsored play about a family’s journey in the world of autism.

We will have one performance on October 4, 2019 (for adults only, with profanity) and one performance on October 5, 2019 (a sensory-friendly performance for children and adults). Each performance begins with a reception and ends with a talk-back. The reception will include food, drink and the opportunity to learn more about Nellie’s Schoolhouse.

For additional information, visit our “A” Train event page.

We hope you enjoyed the rest of your summer and look forward to seeing you this fall!
